Do you use BayStack 10 powersupply unit ?

Software ??

What is connected to the POE ?

We've had a significant number of
POE failures on the 460s. Its a
failure of the same part every
time according to Nortel. Should
be a warranty claim.

The switch is connected with a OneAC no-break and a BS10.

The company that configure our equipment think that is a problem with hardware, but I'm not sure.

I know that is not a energy problem (outtage ou something) because one of the switches is connected in our Datacenter in one Powerware 9330 and a BayStack 10.

I got only 1 port in this switch that use POE, this port has a Acess Point connected (Intermec W2100). I find this problem because the AP was unreachable, I placed a power cable in the AP and the equipamento return to work fine.

I talked to Nortel US and they will change our 460 Rev. 1 Switches. So now I will change all rev.1 for rev.6 switches. They told me that this issue is happening all around the world.

Thank you for any tips.
