Hi @ all,
the last time, i get a much hardware issues with SFP-Gbics and Bay 380 24F.
In the last 6 Month, i got 8 of 11 SFP Gbics back with no further functions in Bay380-24F.
i telnet of BayStack produce follow message:
SW Version.: 3.0.1.04
Information of Hardware:
Vendorname: E20 comms inc.
Modul: EM125-MP3TA 1000Base SX SFP (old GBIC) GIBC Modul
Typ: SX

Vendorname: JDS uniphase
Modul: JSMS12005101 1000Base SX(new GBic)SFP GIBC Modul
Typ: unsupportet !!!!!

The new Gbics is a unsupportet hardware ? Why? it is curiously because the Gbic runs although.
i noticed that this kind of GBIC get after a short running time a hardware issue with no further function.
Anyone a idea ?
