I understand that a "Bayface" is basically a snapshot of all the cards in a PIM, however, what I don't know is how do I make one? A NEC Tech is going to come out and make a Bayface of our main switch to help them in reprogramming and I was wondering is this something I could do ahead of time myself? Thanks Guys

I always look at the spare LEN numbers and look to see if there are time slots allocated to them. I have gotten "burned" trying to install a card or a phone and not have it work due to the time slot being used somewhere else. Command F70>LEN>XXYY can help with this. YY tells you if a time slot is available (01) or not (00).

The best thing to do is let the tech come and get what he needs. As an NEC tech myself their is nothing better than going onsite and physically looking at the system.
