anybody knows how to get HPOV to read Bay Router trap messages so it will show up on the alarm browser with meaningful messages. Currently, I have most of the MIBs for Bay Router software rev 14 loaded into HPOV but trapd.conf still doesn't have the Bay router trap definition in it.

You have to set up the Nortel router for SNMP Management. You have to specify the proper community name (to match HPOV) and insure the SNMP Manager table is at least set to 0.0.0.0, thats assuming you do have IP running on the router. You can customize this table later. If you have all all the mibs loaded then it should fly. If you need additional MIBS they are available at the NOrtel Web Site.
