Battery Replacement

Replaced Battery as usual with two AAA and the "REPLACE BATTERY WITH POWER ON" warning will not go away on Ext-11

I swapped the +- but it still won't clear the warning.

Check for corrosion, check the batteries

Leaky batteries can corrode the spring connectors. Check the spring connectors.

Thank you. I thought that mightbe it. Will I have to open the shell or can I clear the springs from outside?

I have used a good pencil eraser on several occasions; depends how corroded the springs are.

I've had the same issue after replacing the batteries. I used a small screwdriver and swabbed the battery terminal with a rubbing alcohol pad and it worked fine.

Yes, it came right off as soon as I did the same thing. reinstalled battery and all is well again in partner Land!
