I have a application written in VBA that shows a Userform whenever a system or process errors occur.
This userform is locked down in that it cannot be closed unless a supervisor enters a password.
The users have figured out a way to circumvent this userform by pulling the battery from their Windows CE device that they use to login to the Terminal server that runs the application.

One benefit of terminal services is that a local device power outage means that you don't lose your work. Why would Excel forget the error userform?

I am using Excel XP for the VBA application.

Figured out what the problem was - it had nothing to do with Excel or VBA at all.

The users didn't give enough information - but the source was the terminal server session ending instead of disconnecting.
