battery drain

Customer with a cordless 3920 on an acs card. The battery goes dead prematurely starts to beep when phone is showing bars for power. Have two batteries and both fade fast. New batteries. Any suggestions

If the batteries are known to be good, but, not being charged properly, it might be time to replace the phone. Not sure if the 3920 can be easily repaired though (I believe it is a Uniden product).
