I need to create a batchfile to run in the morning that will return backup info. i.e. successful/failed etc. on a number of netware and nt servers. Any ideas?

I have written a complicated, yet easy to use Excel macro which does all this. It basically reads in ARCH$SVR.LOG, looks for the last backup job (and compares the date so it can determine whether the last backup job is last nights for example), then puts the status into another Excel sheet. Works quite well. -----------------------------------------------------

Why don't you guys use the Alert feature that comes with arcserve. It works great!!
