Hi all,

Have an SV8500. I need to re-arrange the stations in the system. Need to change their LEN locations. Is there some sort of bulk programming solution out there for this? I have MA4000 but didn't find a way of doing this - unless I'm missing something.

Thanks

under users and devices tab in the MA4000 there is a range programming function. it will allow you to add, delete, swap etc. i have never used it since i have never had the need to. if you try it let us know how it works.

I tried that earlier, and looked promising. However, on step 2, it's asking me what pbx I want to work on, but the drop-down menu is blank and I can't continue from there. Even though under other options, my sv8500 is offered as a registered PBX...

I have, in the past, used the sendkeys command in a macro behind an excel spreadsheet to control the mat programme when I have had particularly repetetive work to do, with some success!

What version of MA are you running? Can you administer the SV from the MA? the reason i ask is The MA must be at least rev 7.2 to work with SV8500.

I have 7.2. It was installed along with the SV8500 for the purpose of administering the switch with it. Generally speaking, it works, I haven't run into any particular problem before. I do use it sometimes to set up stations or change buttons and so on, but use PC Pro a lot more.
