How would I change the security settings for a number of documents using the batch processing feature in Acrobat 5.0? Here's are the steps that I currently take to perform the desired operation on one document:
1) Open pdf document
2) Navigate to "File"
3) Scroll down and click on "Document Security"
4) Click "Change Settings" on the "Document Security" dialog box.
5) Uncheck all of the permissions (i.e. "No Printing", "No Changing the Document", "No Content Copying or Extraction", "No Adding or Changing Comments")
6) Click "OK" to close "Standard Security" dialog box.
7) Click "Close" to close "Document Security" dialog box.
8) Save the document in a different folder with the same file name.
It would take me next to forever to perform these operations individually on each of the documents that need to be changed. Is there a way to use the batch processing feature to do this? I don't know how to write actions in JavaScript if that is what will be required. Any help with all of this would be greatly appreciated.
Note: No passwords are required to change the permission settings.
