I'm trying to set up a droplet in PS7-trial that opens an image, reduces it by 50% and then saves it to the same name as the original - overwriting it if necessary.
I tend to have nice long descriptive names (with a unique date-id stamp at the beginning, like
200304-012 View from top of Mount St Helens as its head explodes.jpg
I have managed to get the droplet to open and reduce the image, but for some reason, it saves it to a truncated mangled name, like
200304-012-View-from-top-of-Mou.jpg
how can I get it to stop doing this?
