Hello:

I have a question with a batch file that I am writing for Photoshop. By a batch file, I mean an Action that I am going to record.

When I record the action, is there a way to save the file as a .bat so that all I have to do is click on it and then it executes?

Any help on this would be helpful.

I don't think Photoshop can execute any actions without being open in the active window. You can execute the actions easily with hot keys, but I'm quite sure that Photoshop has to be open in the active window. The code that drives the actions is part of Photoshop, not part of your OS.

Thanks for that. Yeah I know that you can make Actions for Photoshop, just didn't know if you could save them like regular DOS Batch files. Thanks for the help.
