NAV tech support isn't helping me. Can't seem to get a live person on the phone for this, so I'm trying here.
(Installed NAV 2006 upgrading from 2005. 2003 worked well, 2005 less so, and I'm less than pleased with 2006 so far.)
I'm used to having all my batch files in directory path that's all lowercase with no spaces or silly punctuation.
After installing NAV 2006, I can no longer get my batch files to run, even if the path is explicity listed in the PATH variable and or on the command line. I have a batch file I wrote that is extraordinarily handy with renaming image files from digital cameras (renjpg.bat), and now I'm getting messages like "The system cannot execute the specified program", regardless of the batch file I try to run. It won't even 'see' the batch file in the local directory if copied to it.
What gives? Is it NAV 2006? Is it the Sony DRM XPC stuff? Whatever it is I need to fix it because I'm not renaming image files by hand anymore. (The renjpg.bat script renames them based on date and makes the filenames all lowercase.)
