I need to create a batch file with .msi files in it. I have about 10 folders on my network all in the same place. I have no clue how to do this. Do they make a free utility that will create a batch file? Can anyone give me step by step instructions on how to do this.

bsl1234,
what are you tring to do?
a batch file (.bat or .cmd) is just a script file with command line instructions that you can schedule or create a program / icon to run rather than typing.
how can you have 10 folders in the same place? do you mean same server?
you have to write tha batch file yourself.
what are you actually trying to script? without knowing what you are actually trying to accomplish it's a bit hard to give you step by step instructions.

regards,
longhair
ps this thread probably belongs on the w2k server forum not vba
