I have a Windows application myprog.exe which fires up, displays a window and invites keyboard or mouse input. __ In particular the user may then key in some sequence of characters, let us say Alt-F N, to start the process of creating a new record or file or what-have you.
I would like to be able to set up a scheduled batch job which runs every day at 10 p.m, fires up myprog.exe and then supplies a sequence of keyboard input which is then passed through to myprog.exe. Is this possible, and supposing that myprog.exe starts by clearing the keyboard buffer, as it may very likely do, is there a way round this?
Hope I have explained what I am trying to do.
Thanks. Andrew
