Can anyone help me with a batch file?
I need to be able to automatically change the network settings on a computer from general to alternate config with a batch file.

Also I need a batch file enter the IP address, gateway, subnet mask and DNS settings in the alternate tab.

Why not have a file for the "general" and another for the "alternate" and then rename either to a "common" file name that controls which settings to use? The rename could be put into a batch file.

Possibly there is something i misunderstand. . .

Do you still need a solution to this?
I may have an idea but the post is pretty long, not doing it if the post is dead.
