what would the command's be to copy a folder and all it's contents from a network share to a local drive, and then to execute and run the .exe

Ummm, try XCOPY and the name of the executable???

Sorry don't mean to be sarcastic (yes I do) but when you want to copy, use XCOPY. To execute an exeuctable file, type it's name.

If you are trying to do something more involved please give some details so we can all help.

BTW = "XCOPY /?" (without the quotes) will give you all the syntax for Xcopy, including subfolders, date/times & error correction. Cheers,
Sam
