Bastille-Linux

Hello,
I have Red Hat Enterprise 2.1 installed on my server and I have also installed Bastille-Linux and have gone through the interactive configuring of it. I have noticed now that I cannot open applications like the Red Hat package manager and I cannot remote into it using putty and ssh. I'm not sure what I configured wrong because I'm very new to linux. If anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate them. Thank you!

Try # nmap -v <server ip address>
And you can see which port is open for ssh.

Remember that RedHat install often enables port firewalling by default. You may have valid services running that are unreachable due to firewall rules.
