I have several similar reports all with similar subreports and when I first created the reports and subreports I saved them in separate file folders to be better organized. During the last 2 weeks I have made several updates to both the main reports and the subreports(while working in the main reports). 2 days ago when I went to review the reports in my subreport folder they appeared as they did two weeks ago, but if I open the subreport via the main report, I see all the changes I made. So I guess the subreport only "exists" as a section of the main report and in order for the versions of the subreports in my "Subreports" file folder to be current, I have will have to open them via the main report and do a "save as" to my "Subreports" folder to keep a collection of my most current versions, right?

Yes. I think if you had set up your main report to reimport subreports upon opening, you could have made the changes in the separate subreport file, and then the changes would have been made in the main report sub, too.

However, I ordinarily do not set up subs to be reimported upon opening, since I worry about keeping track of what changes were done where.
