Hi
again, I'm stumped due to my lack of computing knowledge - I'm trying to create filters which will print off different letters, reports and other stuff based on todays date - I have worked out that if I select 'actionon' or 'callon' in the filter wiz' then select 'less than or equal to' and then todays date 28/10/05, i can create a filter to isolate all todays 'stuff'and then mail merge etc - but i have to re-write the filter each day with the date in full - if i put 'date()' in the last box, it keeps telling me the filter is incomplete---why--- it works in letters and reports so why not here?????
any help would be appreciated
Melanie

Hi Melanie,

We run a SQL Queries course that directly addresses that sort of stuff.

If you have SQL installed then get the Books Online installed - SQL help basically. Look up GetDate()
