Not having used Netware very much at all, I'm trying to find out how to tell what a network with a Netware server is running as an email server. How do I find out what program they're running on the netware server for email and how do I configure it!?

Many, many thanks

Hi mm,

They are most likely using GroupWise for their email. At the server console, press Ctrl + Esc keys to see a list of the available screens. If they are running GroupWise, you should see a minimal of the MTA (Message Transfer Agent) and the POA (Post Office Agent).

P.S. You can also type "modules" at the server console to run through a list of loaded NLMs, which will also give you a clue to what they are running.

Lou
