Hi All, One of my client has a real basic need. He just wants inbound faxes to hit his PC and be stored.

Ultimately to access them remotely to view, I suppose using log me in, gotomypc, etc. However, if a basic program existed that could email them as .tif files that would be nice. Very basic, low volume, inbound only. His email is hosted outside. Thanks!

Can start with upgrading the current physical fax machine. Print/fax combo machines have an option to store and forward faxes to an email address.

Here's the quick and dirty $80 solution that you can try for free. With 32-bit fax, and the fax to email add-on, you set up a network fax server and print to that device.

Can't MS fax do this? You just need a modem, or am i missing something?

Shame Lycos email went belly up, this was a service they had for email customers. May be worth seeing if his hosted email provider does a similar service.
