Hi guys,
I've just got the 30 day version for developers just to test.
I noticed that the only way of producing charts or graphs is when the SQL has a 'group by' - Is this so? and/but I can't restrict the column fields( ie where column1>200) if I use a group by!!??
What am I doing wrong? I'm just going through it eith the assistant.

My second problem is that I would also like to give SQL expressions manually. According to the manual this is accomplished using the repository. but the repository requires a special password which I can't access..or is that because its the test version ??

You can base graphs on any data, the graphs themselves allow for grouping within, as does Crystal itself.

Not sure about the password in the repository of that version, sorry.

I don't have CR XI installed right now, but the old means was to right click the SQL Expression in the Field Explorer and select New.

Make sure that you understand what they are first though.

You can also base the entire report on SQL by using the Add Command.
