Basic CORBA

hi,

im new to both CORBA and tek tips!!

i would like some basic help:
1] say i got a server app on one machine and a clientapp on a diff machine.

2] i am writing the client app for the server app using the ACE+TAO orb

3] i know the server ip, server port, naming service port
and the logical name used to get the object reference from a naming service.

Now my question is, how does the client know where the server is.
i mean where on the client side do i specify the server ip, the naming service port.

im really confused and going insane!!!
PLEASE HELP somebody!! its really urgent
