basic configuration of sendmail with solaris 2.6

Hi!
Newbie question.
I've just intalled sendmail 8.9.1 on a SPARC Solaris 2.6. I'm using the sendmail.cf that comes by default. Now i can receive e-mail but when i trie to send an e-mail it says "Mail sent" but i don't receive it.

Is there something i missed? Must i do some specific configuration to allow users to send mail?
