Basic CICS Bundle

The CICS stands for COMPACT Integrated Communications System, and starts out as a 0x16.
The MICS stands for MODULAR Integrated Communications Ststem, and starts out as a 0X32.
The CICS is smaller with 2 slots for trunk carts. and 1 slot for an additional 8 station ports.

I've seen CICS bundles come as both the Restricted s/w cartridge and the Standard cartridge. Have a look at the cartridge, if it says Restricted or shortened to Restr. on the Nortel Label, its a 4X8. Still unsure? Post the numbers/letters that are on your label, someone here can tell you exactly what software came with your bundle.
