OK, Once you've finished laughing, could someone please take pity on me.

I've been handed a WebPart to fix, and I know NOTHING about Sharepoint.

I think the developer who originally did it may have had sharepoint installed on this machine...or not.

Everywhere I look wrt testing WebParts, it eventually says "Go to your sharepoint webpage and ...".

So my quesions are:
1) How can I tell if sharepoint is even installed on this machine?
2) What's the sharepoint webpage?

Go to the administrative tools and see if you see "Sharepoint Central Admin". Or go to your control panel and other menus to find Services to see if anything that shows Sharepoint shows up. Go to microsoft.com and do a search. You will get some answers.
