base point reset by UCS

Can anyone help me stop the base point being reset after using the UCS world command ?

That's what it's for. UCS world resets the base point back to it's original default position.

but I often find that even when using 0,0,0 as a basepoint for a USC I create, when I return to ucs world the base point hase been changed from 0,0,0. (normally to 333,1608).
