is this an outside number? do you dial 9 plus 11811? i can't imagine what this number is for. Do you happen to know if all your NCOSs are already asigned?

Are all your users cls = tld

if so add the 11811 number to the deny tables in ld 49

if not you'll have to muck around with the spns

are you in the UK?

Problems with Barring & unbarring a 118 number in the UK!

In the UK Oftel have now caused us a few problems on the 118XXX service. First of all check that your outgoing lines are going via BT trunks to another supplier using least cost routing or Carrier Pre Select (CPS).
A number of these suppliers are blocking access to companies providing the enquiry service. Assuming that all is well, then the other major thing to check is your barring tables.
Is digit "1" a denied number & therefore 118 has not been enabled?
Also are your outgoing trunk lines of the Euro ISDN or "ETSI" type?. If they are, then you might find that the expected dialled digits are set as "3". This means that the Meridian will only accept 118 & on keying in the 4th digit will result in the number obtainable tone being given.
On the Option 11 to 81 systems look within LD 90 under SPN'S & print them all out. If you only have a spn of "1" listed, then the FLEN will almost certainly be set to "3".
You can either change the flen to "0" or a higher value i.e. "6". I would recommend that you remove SPN "1" & rebuild them using "10" , "11" etc up to "19" with the flen set as follows..

SPN 10 FLEN = 3
" 11 " " 6
" 12 " " 20
" 13 " " 3
" 14 " " 20
" 15 " " 3
" 16 " " 3
" 17 " " 3
" 18 " " 20
" 19 " " 3

The older DASS digital lines are not a problem if the flen is set to a shorter value, as it will accept more digits dialled on them.

All the best
