we have exchange 2003 sp2 on a windows 2003 server
the barracuda proxy is a 210
ive goin into the hidden advanced tab and set up the out going email address from the barracuda as proxy@domain.com
on the exchange i set up a mail group and set the email as proxy@domain.com
when i send out emails from the barracuda to email addresses on the domain, the from address is left blank, but when i send to any doamin in the outside world the from address shows up fine
the proxy server and exchange server are both in the same domain, and i have the proxy server relaying through the exchange machine...
if i forward an email that was sent, it shows in the email that the from address is
[mailtoroxy@domain.com]
so it knows the email address, it just wont display, and barracuda tech suport just says it must be my exchange server...
any ideas as to why the email address isnt showing up for the origional email?
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention
of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body,
but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up,
totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming
--"WOW-- What a Ride!"
