I have created a report which uses a barcode. I have added a formula to format the barcode using the UFL for the barcode font. This report works fine. I uploaded the report to the Crystal Management Server and get an error in the formula of the page. I have checked the designer on the server and that report also works fine. Some where between lies a problem. Any thoughts??????????? Thanks

What error do you get - is it not recognizing the UFL? From memory, all the barcode UFL does is add a leading and trailing asterix (*) - this is required for any scanner or barcode reader to signify the start and end of the barcode field. You can do away with the UFL, and simply create a formula that adds an asterix to the start and end of your scanable field - that may fix your problem, assuming the problem is being caused by the UFL....

The error message is:

Error in File 4dc3123cf3f1a86.rpt: Error in formula 4dc3123cf3f1a86.rpt [On Page Server: COSCSWEBAPPS.pageserver]

We are using 128c and the formula add beginning and ending charactes plus check sums.
