Barcode on HP 1

I have a couple of HP printers (5L, 6L, 1100, 2200 and more) which I want to be able to print barcode labels to.

A salesperson told me that I couldn't do that without installing a proper font on the HP printer.
Either by replacing the memory on the printer or by simply sending the font to the printer using copy 'fontpackage' lpt1.
If I remember correctly the name of this fontpackage/character set was called somthing like EQ91.

Anyone know anything about this?
Where can I find this "EQ91" files?
