barcode code128 source ?

Does anyone have any source code for creating a CODE128 barcode image ..or simply know how the bars relate to the values etc ...

After doing a lot of research into doing bar codes, I discovered several important things. [ol]
[li]There are royalties that you can be forced to pay under some circumstances if you "roll your own."[/li]
[li]It is easier to work with some printer's build in bar code capabilities. See your printer docs for more info.[/li]
[li]It is even more easier to work with someone else's library. See

[li]It is easiest to deal with special printers that will print the bar codes for you, e.g. Intermec and Zebra printer.[/li][/ol]
