Bar code printing problems in Access 2000, XP

I'm trying to print bar code labels from within MS Access. I've been able to do this for years with no trouble from MS Access 97. Now I'm trying to set up bar code label printing for an Access 2000 database, and the same True Type bar code fonts and font sizes that have worked well in Access 97 don't print readably in Access 2000 or XP/2002. They are unreadable because the lines in the bar code are much too thick. No amount of experimenting with fonts and sizes has made any difference. Has anybody out there experienced this problem? Any suggestions for a solution? What bar code fonts are being used successfully in Access 2000 and Access XP? We're printing to a Zebra thermal label printer (model 105Se 300dpi), if that makes a difference. All PCs mentioned (both Access 97 and Access 2000/XP users) use the Windows 2000 operating system and the same printer drivers - so the only variable that I can see is the version of Access.

Thanks for your help!

Have you moved to Windows XP? If so, it might be a printer driver problem - a more likely source of problems, I think. I've been struggling with Windows XP Prof drivers for legacy equi[ment for some time. It's the real downside of XP Prof.

No, all users are using Windows 2000. MS Access 2000 and MS Access XP seem to be where the problems lie. Thanks.
