I have the BAOF running on an SBS 2003 machine with Version 9, build 2020. First of all, it seems like there are an awful lot of open files, files that I don't believe are actually open. Nonetheless, the system logs the backup of all these files and there are thousands of them. This makes reading the activity log very difficult. I have checked "Log Summary Only" on the global options job log tab. Is there any way to stop logging BAOF activity?

Thanks

Mark

The modification has to be made at the OFA end and not ARCserve. Bring up the OFA admin, and (I'm working from memory and so you may after do a little searching to find it) go to configuration, then there is a check box for ARCserve Extended features or Intergration. Deselect that option and OFA will no longer write it's activity to the ARCserve log, and will only write it to it's own log.
