BAOF installed; still get AW0004 errors

We are using ArcServe 2000 SP4. I installed BAOF on a remote Windows 2000 Server and I am still getting the following error:

AW0004 Failed to open file. The process cannot access the file because it is being used by anothe process

The error occurs on five files. The program that contains the open files is the Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server.

Why am I still getting these messages and what can I do to get these files backed up?

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated!

Dit you reboot your server after installing BAOF? I had similar problems on an NT 4 server with DHCP and Wins. Both databases stil failed to backup because they were open. After a reboot those files are no longer a problem.

No, I have not rebooted the server. I will give that a try. I talked with a CA tech support earlier in the week about the error and they told me that the AW0004 error means that the file is constantly open and therefore never gets a chance to be backed up even with the BAOF installed. He informed me to use the backup utility that comes with SharePoint. CA said that an agent for the SharePoint Server is due out in the next release but they did not tell me when that will be.

I will try your suggestion in the meantime.
