Hi guys,

We are launching a website where ad companies can post their advertisments. Now I have noticed that a UK visitor goes to such a site, he sees the UK ads, likewise a guy from US sees US ads. I am wondering how this can be done? would I need to write a script that checks where a user comes from and appropriately display the banners?

Thanks!

Firstly, please don't "bump" threads. Tek-Tips is not a free helpdesk and people will respond if and when they want to.

Secondly, I notice that although you have asked a few questions on this forum, you haven't marked any of the answers as valuable.

If you are not getting the answers that you need read FAQ222-2244 to see how to ask better questions. If you are getting the answers you need see FAQ222-2244 (paragraph 15) to see how to acknowledge the answers given.

Paragraph 16 of the FAQ explains about this being a two-way forum, to give guidance on answering other peoples questions, as I also notice that you haven't yet made any posts in other peoples threads.
