I have some OLD outstanding checks that are showing up on my bank reconcilliation.. Those checks were reversed but the invoices were not recalled to be modified later so the checks although reversed are showing as a "real" check. How can I get those out of my bank rec.

If the checks were reversed, they still should show as reversed in your bank rec. However, if they are old you can use check, deposit, and adjustment entry to delete the entries. Just be watchful of the bank balance in bank code maintenance. This amount should match the amount in your GL when everything is posted.
