Sorry for the partial crosspost...

I'm looking to develop a bandwidth sensitive distribution tool to work with InstallShield...

Alot like the way Windows Update works, in the background, when there's free bandwidth only.

I know some 3rd part programs exist, but can anyone point me in the direction of development tools for such an idea?

The words BITS and Drizzle have been thrown my way, but they don't take me anywhere obvious (except Microsoft SMS) being that they aren't exactly unique words.
