We have real problems here with bandwidth (Not sure if this is the right forum).

Our internal connection and connection between our 3 sites is fine, but when the users from a specific location try to connect to the internet they get really slow connection, or cannot connect at all.

Our set up is ADSL with a 6Mb down 512Kb up.

The following is what I have tried -
Close all Desktops - Still runs like a Dog!
Disconnect all Network Connections to the Router/Firewall (Juniper) and use a clean Laptop to try to surf - Still runs like a Dog!
Turned off all VPN connections to the Juniper - Still runs like a Dog!

Have spoken to our ISP (Enta.net) they say there is no problem, BT (who own the line) say there is no problem - an engineer is coming out today to look.

If any one has any type of idea please can you help

Hi brianinms,

there are 10 users using this line, but all users were shut down on testing so they were not the issue

Issue resolved - DNS forwarders set to wrong ISP

I assume the Juniper is your device. What happens when you connect directly to your ISP's modem and try to surf?

Hi Crow,

We basically had gone through everything else, we knew we had a problem - so we started looking at the DNS and where it was pointing.

Our DNS on our Server was pointing at another ISP's DNA Servers instead of our own.
