Balance Sheet Trend Report

I've been tasked to create a Balance Sheet but in a trend report fashion. They want the same total per assets code that you get from the Balance sheet but per period like you'd get with a Trend report.

Is this possible?

If you are on MAS 4.0 or higher, your best bet to get a Balance Sheet Trend Report is to use FRx or F9 report writer. They are made to create this and other GL type of reports.

The other possibility is to use MAS's Custom Finacials. This will only work if your GL stucture is 9 characters or less. If you go this route, you may need to unhide the Custom Finacial menu in GL - File, Run, *UNHIDEGL

This would be a REAL pain to create in Crystal (you might be able to use the Revenue/Expense Trend Crystal Report as a model).

Thanks for the reply. That was a nice trick you showed me there... How do you hide it again?

I guess it's not going to be possible for me to create the report at this point. I'm going to be taking the File Structers and Intro to Crystal for MAS90 at the end of January and will try again after that.

Once you unhide it, you can't hide it again.
