We have two separate domains that trust each other. Both domains are Server 2000 and in one of the domains we have backup exec 8.6 installed on a domain controller and in the other domain we have an exchange server. How can I set it up where backup exec will backup the exchange server. I have an exchange remote agent license installed on the backup exec server and the backups that are currently running backup everything else in the two domains and I just need to know what else to set up so I can back up my exchange server becasue right now the backups are skipping critical exchange items.

You need to install the backup exec remote agent on the exchange server, and install the exchange agent on the backup exec server. Also you need to install exchange system manager on the backup exec server, and configure a mailbox for BE to use.
