Bagle virus 1

Hi,

I got an email from someone I know which had the love_me_now.exe attached. I searched on the Net and found it to be this virus:

Does this mean the person who sent it to me is infectd, or could it be another persons PC who sent it, "posing" as another person?

The from address is fake - it did not come from whom it appears
