Baffling Sub Report

I have a sub report that runs fine on its own. I insert it into the main report and when the report runs - no subreport.

I have a relationship with a text based primary and ref integrity enforced.

The subreport is based on a query. If I swap out the source for the sub report source table - it shows. If I swap out the sub report source for the query that populates the sub report - it shows.

If I set the source to the sub report itself, no show except the lable. hmmm

Also, if I take away the parent|child link it works to the point where the entire subreport shows after the 'main' record (as I expected it would)

Please let me know if you have any suggestions? I used to teach this class and still it has me shaking my head.

It appears there is an issue with your link master/child properties. It's too bad we can't see your tables, record sources, fields, fields types, relationships, link property values,...
