Has anyone ever used the badtrk command?? It seems to be what I need to run to correct the fixed disk error I keep getting. I just don't want to run it without knowing what I am doing.

If you run it then make sure that you have the following.

1- 2 Fully working backups of your system.

2- Install media and licenses of all software on the system including the OS.

Then you can run badtrack, but be aware that you may not be able to boot the system afterwards.

I'll also add that it would be very, very wise to be well acquainted with your hardware as well as the badtrk utility itself.

man badtrk - will get you started.

Best of Luck.

Thank you for your help. I am thinking it might be just a wise to put a new hard drive in and reinstall everything properly. That way the problem is fixed for good
