I am up to date on virus defs and run NavMSE on my exchange server. I am able to block this virus with out any problems from outside threats. This virus keeps appearing on my exchange server imcdata/in folder. It quarantines it with out any problems but I cant determine were it is originating from. When you try and view the quarantined file it is all cryptic. Does anyone know how to view these files or a way to determine who in the orginization is propogating this?

Thanks,
Mark

HI.

On your server you are probably running 2 AV programs:
NAV (file scanner)
NAVMSE (mail scanner).

If it is so, then you should configure NAV (the file scanner) to exclude from scanning all of the Exchange work folders.

This activity of the file scanner can make problems to your Exchange server, and should be avoided.
The mail scanner NAVMSE should be the only product that handles mail virusses.

Bye
