I followed the FAQ in the forum for how to create a mailing label report to similarly create a 2-column badge report. The data appears in the proper number of rows/columns, but I am having several other formatting issues:
1) The data in the second column is printing ever-so slightly higher than the data in the first column. Not a big deal, but am wondering why or how I might fix that.
2) The data on my badges includes names which may include professional designations (e.g., Ph.D., MBA, CPA, etc.) as well as titles that can be quite lengthy. If I leave the "Can increase to accommodate contents" feature enabled, the fields expand properly, but it shifts all other fields down so that the badges in the same column no longer align properly. If I disable the "Can increase" property then the badges are all the same size but names and titles are cut off. So I guess I'm asking if there is a way to allow the "Can increase" feature and still have a fixed size for each badge where the other fields on the badge don't shift down when the fields grow in size to accommodate the data.
3) Even though I have set the size properties in the body of the report to the actual size of the labels the data for subsequent rows seem to be creeping up. Will I just need to play with those height properties to get them to align from row to row properly?
Thanks.
