Bad Tapes

Hi all,

I am running into a sistuation is our TSM libray is having a lot of bad tapes. Please tell me what should i do now.

Should i ran the audit command with the option fix=yes or what other options that i should do to fix the bad tape.

What type of Hardware are you using? I would check into updating the firmeware on your library and tape drives.
You may also want to install the latest service level for your version of TSM.

Agree with k111rh, need to know your hardware spec. For example, STK only certifies Maxell and FujiFilm on their L-class libraries. You WILL run into problems with anything else...
