Bad Preloader?...

Hi, I created a flash intro with bg music ( everything worked fine until I tried it on a dial-up connection! It literally stops about 8 times throughout the intro to download the next bit of the intro. That leads me to the obvious conclusion that there's something wrong with my preloader. When I go to other flash intros on this same dial-up connection, it's true that the preloaders all take a longer time playing until the movie has completely downloaded, but once they download, they all play straight through to the end.

The only thing I could think of is perhaps the animation in the preloader has to be a looping movie clip so that it'll just keep playing until movie is downloaded? (as opposed to inserting the animation directly in the preloader timeline like I've done.)

Thank you.

Doesn't stop on my cable connection! What's your preloader code? Regards,

Your movie doesn't link to others does it?...i.e. scene 1 unload movie, load movie 2 etc?
If so, your preloader will only load movie 1 (I think anyway).

Rgds

No, this intro doesn't load any other movies. But if it did, is there a way to preload that 2cnd movie as well?!
