I have a scsi hdd that i boot win98 and linux from but the parititon table has been messed up and i when i try to reinstall linux it just says that my partition table is too corrupted for it to read it. Does anyone know a program to solve this problem or anything I can do except formatting the drive?

Please, if you know anything about this reply to this or send me a mail to:

What does 98 have to say? Probable fix is to use 98 fdisk to remove the Linux partition, then let Linux reinstall itself by recreating the partition and reformatiing.
This is assuming that 98 can handle it.

Have you tried FDISK /MBR
THat should remove Lilo, which you need to remove when there is a problem with Linux. Then remove Linux and re-install.
